A great school is built on respect between students, parents and staff. These expectations help us all work together.
Students are expected to
- arrive on time in clean, complete school uniform;
- be kind, honest and respectful to classmates, teachers and staff;
- take care of school property, books and the environment;
- complete homework and come prepared for lessons;
- speak English during school hours, while respecting all languages; and
- follow safety rules in classrooms, on the playground and on school transport.
Parents and guardians are asked to
- ensure regular attendance and inform the school of absences in advance;
- read school notices and the student diary regularly;
- attend parent–teacher meetings and school events where possible;
- raise concerns with the class teacher or Principal directly and respectfully; and
- pay fees on time according to the schedule shared by the office.
Mobile phones and valuables
Students should not bring mobile phones or valuables to school. If a phone is necessary for safety, it must be handed to the class teacher at the start of the day.
Positive discipline
We encourage good behaviour through praise, responsibility and clear consequences. Serious or repeated misconduct is discussed with parents. Corporal punishment is never used.
