Photographs and videos help us celebrate students' achievements and share school life with families. We balance this with every child's right to privacy and safety.
When we take photos
Staff may photograph or film classroom activities, events, sports, celebrations and trips for educational records, newsletters, the school website and official social media pages.
Consent
- Parents and guardians are asked for written consent at admission for their child's image to be used on the website and official channels.
- Consent can be withdrawn at any time by informing the school office in writing. We will stop using new images and remove existing website images within 7 working days.
- Where consent is not given, the child will not be featured in published photographs.
How we publish images safely
- We do not publish students' full names alongside their photographs.
- We avoid close-up individual portraits on public pages; group photos are preferred.
- All uploaded photos are automatically stripped of location (GPS) and camera metadata.
- Images of students in swimwear, changing or in any distressing situation are never published.
Photos taken by parents
Parents may take photos of their own child at public school events for personal use. Please do not post images of other children on social media without their parents' permission.
